Travelling to Heidelberg

By aeroplane - Frankfurt Airport
For Japanese participants, it is best to book a flight from Japan to Frankfurt Airport. From Frankfurt Airport there are direct fast train connection (ICE or IC) to Heidelberg. The trains run every hour and take about 1 hour. For information about the exact train connections please refer to:

By car - Driving directions
Interstate A5 coming from Frankfurt direction Karlsruhe/Basel or Interstate A5 coming from Karlsruhe/Basel direction Frankfurt.
Please take exit Heidelberger Kreuz (interchange) direction Heidelberg onto the A 656. At the end of the highway after 2,2 km range into the left lane at first traffic light. Than turn left following the sign hotel-route ”A” direction Eberbach/Chirurgie. At the next traffic light turn right, the hotel is located on the left side. The entrance of the hotel is directly across the Shell patrol station.

By foot from railway station to Heidelberg
For all of you visiting us by train we kindly present the direction to the Heidelberg Marriott Hotel.- Walking to our hotel takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes.
You leave the station through the exit leading to the bus stop. At the bus stop you cross the Kurfürsten-Street, turn left in front of the Kurfürsten-Passage and immediately turn right into the Karl-Metz-Street. Now you can take your way straight on until you arrive at the Vangerowstreet. The hotel is now right in front of you.

Of course it is possible to take a taxi at the station.
